13th Dec 2019—At ASMMUN 2019 (5th-7th December), the MUN conference organised by the American School of Milan, the whole of Manzoni’s delegation played an active role in the debates in their respective Committees, with many of our students shortlisted by the chairs for the “Best Delegate” awards.

A special mention goes to those delegates with less expertise, who were able to successfully prepare and participate in the discussion.

Finally, Michele Mauri and Claudia Catalini were each awarded the Best Delegate Award for two important and challenging Committees. Michele won as the Delegate of Bolivia in the Security Council, with some of his clauses approved in spite of some opposition by the P5, while Claudia was able to successfully represent Northern Ireland in a complex discussion on the Troubles in the Historical Committee.
